Father John H. Schipp, 83, senior priest of the Diocese of Evansville, died Dec. 10 at Monastery Immaculate Conception’s Scenic Hills in Ferdinand. His funeral was scheduled for Dec. 16, after our press time for this issue of The Message. We will have full coverage of Father Schipp’s passing in our Dec. 24 issue.
