All are invited to the Diocese of Evansville’s 2025 Blue Mass for law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders at 9 a.m. CDT Oct. 2 at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714. The annual Blue Mass is a tradition that honors the work of all public safety responders — including police, fire and EMS responder personnel — for a special celebration and blessing for their work on behalf of the community.
The Mass is celebrated annually across the nation on or near the Sept. 29 Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, patron of those in public safety and who protect others.
A special invitation is extended to all law enforcement officers, firefighters and other first responders, but all are welcome!
