Be an advocate with the Indiana Catholic Conference

Special to The Message

The Indiana Catholic Conference (ICC) invites you to sign up for the Indiana Catholic Action Network (ICAN), which exists to form and update the faithful on the Church’s legislative priorities to advance the common good. During each annual meeting of the Indiana General Assembly, the ICC brings the teachings of our Catholic faith to Indiana’s legislators and needs your help to amplify the Church’s witness.

State lawmakers returned to downtown Indianapolis Jan. 8 to begin the 2024 Indiana General Assembly, which is expected to conclude in March. The ICC is expecting a full slate of issues to follow this session, including legislation to reduce minors' access to online pornography, alternatives to payday lending and limiting expansion of subprime lending rates, driving cards for nonresidents, affordable housing and habitability standards, child care support, nonpublic and public education concerns, community solar, and other legislation that either supports or harms family life, human life, human dignity, and the common good.

Sign up for communications and action alerts by going to the ICC website at indianacc.org/action-alerts or email the ICC at [email protected].
