Bishop Joseph M. Siegel has announced several pastoral assignments in the Diocese of Evansville, all effective June 26.
Fr. Riji George has been assigned as administrator of Christ the King Parish, Ferdinand.
Fr. Jeffery Jambon, LC, has been assigned as chaplain to the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles at St. Anne Monastery (former Poor Clare Monastery).
Fr. Vargheese Kalaparakudi has been assigned as parochial vicar at St. John the Baptist Parish, Newburgh.
Fr. Jaison Kuzhiyil, from the Archdiocese of Hobart in Australia, has been assigned as parochial vicar at St. Joseph Parish, Jasper.
Fr. Srinivasa Malaka, HGN, has been assigned as administrator of St. Peter Parish, Linton and Holy Name Parish, Bloomfield.
Deacon Bob Martin will complete his assignment at St. Matthew Parish, Mt. Vernon, while continuing his assignment at St. Philip Parish, Posey County.
Fr. Stephen McGinnis has been assigned as administrator of St. Peter Parish, Montgomery.
Fr. Simon Natha has been assigned as pastor of St. Isidore Parish, Celestine/Dubois.
Fr. John Pfister has been assigned as parochial vicar at Annunciation Parish, Evansville.
Deacon Phillip Rogier, following his ordination to the priesthood on June 22, will be assigned as parochial vicar at St. James Parish and Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, both in Haubstadt.
Deacon Caleb Scherzinger, following his ordination to the priesthood on June 22, will be assigned as parochial vicar at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Vincennes, and St. Philip Neri, Bicknell.
Deacon Mike Seibert has been assigned to special discipleship/evangelization ministry, assisting the north Dubois County pastors. He will work under the auspices of the Diocesan Office of Catechesis.
Fr. Darnis Selvanayakam has been assigned as administrator of St. Matthew Parish, Mount Vernon.
Deacon Tyler Underhill, following his ordination to the priesthood on June 22, will be assigned as parochial vicar at St. Benedict Cathedral, Evansville, until he returns to Rome in September to complete his STL in Moral Theology at the Angelicum. Upon his return to the Diocese next June, he will resume his assignment at the Cathedral.
TRANSITIONAL DEACONS
The four deacons who were ordained in April have received assignments for the summer. After they complete their seminary work in December, they will return to their assigned parishes for the spring semester for what is now called the synthesis stage of formation.

Deacon Keith Hart has been assigned to St. Joseph Parish, Jasper.
Deacon Aaron Herrenbruck has been assigned to St. Mary Parish, Ireland.
