Car show draws huge turnout

St. Wendel Parish in St. Wendel hosted its annual Grillin’ n’ Chillin’ event June 4, and the car show drew a large turnout of cars. The day also included a 5k run in the morning and plenty of food and entertainment. See more photos from the car show on page 8 of this issue.

The June 4 St. Wendel Grillin n’ Chillin’ Car Show featured amazing examples of cars that have defined the automotive landscape. American flags adorn this beautiful Ford Model A. Ford introduced the Model A 95 years ago, in 1927.

Just a few yards away from the Model A, this Corvette C8 represents the latest and greatest in American performance technology. Introduced in 2020, this eighth-generation Corvette is built in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

This custom hot rod was parked only a few steps away from the Model A and the Corvette. It represents dreams of all those who have taken stock vehicles and turned them into one-off classics.
