Deacon Tyler Underhill professes Priesthood Promises

Diocese of Evansville candidate for holy Orders Deacon Tyler Underhill, left facing Bishop Joseph M. Earlier this spring, Deacon Phillip and Deacon Caleb made their Priesthood Promises at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad. Deacon Tyler, Deacon Caleb and Deacon Phillip will be ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Siegel June 22 at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville.

Bishop Joseph M. During his homily, Bishop Siegel said the lives of priests might not always be easy, as Peter’s life would attest, but he told Deacon Tyler, Deacon Caleb and Deacon Phillip that they will live lives of truth, integrity, peace, love and abiding joy. All three transitional deacons are the Diocese of Evansville candidates for holy Orders to be ordained to the priesthood June 22 at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville.
