Indiana surrounded on three sides by pro-abortion states

Ohio voters on Nov. 7 chose to allow abortion through late-term pregnancy. This places Indiana in the middle of three states (Illinois, Michigan and Ohio) with laws that are favorable to abortion. Kentucky, on the other hand (and similar to Indiana), has passed laws unfavorable to abortion.

No matter which state you live in and no matter what laws are currently on the books, we, as Christians, are called to continually witness to and follow the fundamental truths that flow from the teachings of Jesus Christ. If we place ourselves opposite these truths in favor of our own personal preferences, then it follows that we attempt to supplant Christ Himself.

I will spare you three paragraphs and cut to the chase. The very bottom line is this: there is a very large portion of (global) society that does not believe in the moral Truths of Jesus Christ and are, in fact, diametrically opposed to them. They are willing, able and passionate about the success of their position.

The question is whether Christians will continue to respond with intellect, persuasion and energy. This means you and me. What are you going to do? How am I going to figure out how I can be most effective? How will you spend your resources? What am I doing in my arenas of influence? You get the picture.

Christ Himself owns the Message. We are not here to bedazzle the Gospels. We are simply called to proclaim it with our voices, our hands, our feet, our ears, our actions and our very lives. The choice rests on our shoulders, as individuals and as Church. Likewise, so, too, will the consequences.
