Keep soldiering, soldiers!

GRATITUDE FOR THE GIFT OF FAITH

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I. Send me’"(Isaiah 6:8).

We all pray for guidance, but are we listening to the voice of God as He gives us direction? The past nine months have been rough, and it seems these concerns are not going to change any time soon. I believe God is allowing this disorder for a reason, and in His time, some good will come from it all.

Our society has failed to pay attention to the 2,000 years of recorded warnings in Salvation history, as well as occurrences in the history of our world. In fact, a radical liberal agenda is insisting that history be erased, apologized for and torn down – and God removed from our culture altogether. I believe censoring truth is dangerous. The importance of speaking the truth cannot be overstated, and doing nothing is not an option!

We are living in troubled times. If the teachings of Christ become irrelevant ... ignorance will create an uncivilized society. I believe we are there! Do not despair; every day God reveals truth to those who are listening. Our hope is in the Lord, the real Power!

History is essential in giving hope to the future. Nov. 18, 2020, was the 100th anniversary of the first country to legalize abortion. The Soviet Union, Russian Communism, unleashed the evil of this atrocity. By 1932, a document was written to encourage the spread of this genocidal plan around the world. The document was addressed to the Eugenics Society. The culture of death is now infiltrated worldwide. Abortion has become one of the most contentious issues in the United States judicial system, and worse, it is disguised as women’s healthcare.

On Oct. 13, 1884, exactly 33 years from the day of the “Miracle of the Sun” at Fatima, Pope Leo XIII had a vision while celebrating Mass in his private chapel with Cardinals and Vatican staff. After Mass, the Pontiff stood silent with an ashen face at the foot of the altar. He was in a trance for 10 minutes. He explained that, as he was about to leave the altar, he heard two voices; one kind and gentle, and one guttural.

The conversation seemed to come from the tabernacle, where the Devil was boasting that he could destroy the Church. He asked the Lord for 75-100 years of power over the faithful. The Lord said, “You have the time, you have the power. Do with them what you will.” After this vision, Pope Leo XIII immediately penned the words to the St. Michael Prayer, and he instructed that the prayer be recited after every Mass. There is more to read about Pope Leo’s vision and the events that follow over the 75-100 years from that day.

During the Blessed Mother’s visits at Fatima, she requested that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart. She told the children to pray a daily rosary to prevent the destruction of family.

Do you see the importance of honoring history? We know God’s timing is much different than our own. I pray we have 100 years to make things right! He needs us to stand for truth today! When He calls, I hope you will answer, “Here am I. Send me!” Amen!
