SPECIAL TO THE MESSAGE
Knights of Columbus Council #10257 of Boonville will hold its 2023 Special Needs Fishing Tournament on May 20. This event is free, but participants must provide their own transportation to and from the lake.
Food, attendance prizes, fishing gear and beverages will be provided for participants and those who escort them. Registered Nurses will be on site for the day, with emergency-vehicle support nearby.
The schedule includes check-in beginning at 8 a.m. CDT at the lake, with the tournament beginning at 9 a.m. The awards ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. CDT to avoid the heat of the day. Plans call for the event to conclude by Noon CDT.
