A donation from Riverside Capital Management Group will provide mental health support and substance misuse prevention for youth in the Diocese of Evansville Catholic Schools.
“We want to ensure that every family can rely on a Youth First Mental Health Professional when needed … crisis or not,” said Jim Back, managing partner at Riverside Capital Management Group, when explaining why he values supporting Youth First.
Back and his family have seen firsthand the value of Youth First’s services and programs. He wants to ensure years of support for Youth First, Inc., with a multi-year donation that supports the organization’s programs and services in local Catholic schools.
“Just like we believe in empowering our clients with financial knowledge and confidence to help them pursue their life goals, Youth First is empowering young people with skills and strong mindsets every day,” Back said. “This contribution is to help ensure those services don’t go away.”
Riverside Capital Management Group has invested in the health and well-being of Indiana youth and families by putting in place a matching fund of $100,000 for donations to Youth First. Each year for five years, Riverside Capital Management Group will match up to $20,000 in donations to Youth First for programs and services in the agency’s 26 partner schools within the Diocese of Evansville. Thanks to the match, donations from Youth First supporters will essentially be doubled. This matching fund was celebrated at an Aug. 8 check presentation at Youth First’s office located in downtown Evansville. The funds will provide mental health support and substance misuse prevention through Youth First’s school-based student assistance program.
This gift demonstrates a thriving community partnership and highlights the vital need to equip young people with mental health support and positive influences.
