St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville will host Evansville Philharmonic’s Spring Choral Concert: Songs of Light and Night at 7:30 p.m. CDT April 25. St. Benedict Cathedral is located at 1328 Lincoln Avenue in Evansville.
The concert by the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus, along with Chorus Master Andrea Drury, Accompanist Tom Drury and the Evansville Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, will include performances of “By Night” and “Illuminare” by Elaine Hagenberg, “Májko, Májko Zelená” by Zdenĕk Lukáš, “Sing Out, My Soul” by Marques L.A. Garrett, “Abendlied, Op. 69, No. 3” by Joseph Rheinberger, “Sure on this Shining Night” by Morten Lauridsen and “Lamentations of Jeremiah” by Z. Randall Stroope.
