Michele Kordes of the Southwest Indiana Teens Encounter Christ Core Group has provided the following information, which we are happy to share with readers.
Kordes wrote, “We apologize for the late notice, but the continued spread of the coronavirus and the uncertainty of its effects have continued to cancel many events in our area and our diocese. TEC’s November weekend is another event affected by this pandemic.
“In collaboration with the Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry, the Southwest Indiana Teens Encounter Christ Core Group has decided to cancel the November 2020 TEC. This decision did not come lightly as we know these weekends are so important to the community, diocese and surrounding areas.
“But with all of the unknowns with this virus, we take seriously the health and safety of all of those involved in preparation for the weekend and those who serve during the weekend. We will keep you informed of any further updates if they are needed.”
