Tigers defend state 2A soccer title

Evansville Police Department vehicles lead a parade of open-air vehicles carrying the Reitz Memorial High School boys soccer team west along Lincoln Ave. toward the school in the early morning of Nov. 2. The Tigers defended their Indiana State High School Athletic Association Class 2A championship with a 3-0 shutout of Fort Wayne Canterbury Oct. 30 at the Grand Park Event Center in Westfield, which is on the north side of the greater Indianapolis area. The title is Reitz Memorial’s fourth boys soccer crown in the past five seasons. The second photo shows the team gathered for a quick championship photo.
