Dear Friends in Christ,
At Easter, we celebrate that Our Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for our salvation, is risen from the dead. Yet our faith goes further to proclaim that we, too, can experience this risen life. Even in the face of difficulties or suffering, Christ’s Resurrection assures us that our struggles don’t have the final word. For those who hope and trust in the Risen Lord, who join their crosses to His, will also share the joy and peace of the new life He won for us; not just in eternity, but here and now as well.
Easter truly changes everything. As we celebrate the sacred events of Holy Week and Easter, we believe that in Jesus’ death and rising, each of us has been offered a new and hopeful beginning. It is for us to accept this grace, allow it to fill our hearts and lives, and then express it in our words and actions, in our worship of God and service to others.
In the name of our entire Diocesan staff, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, blessed and grace-filled Easter Day and Season.

Queridos amigos en Cristo,
En la Pascua, celebramos que Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, quien sufrió y murió por nuestra salvación, se ha levantado de entre los muertos. Sin embargo, nuestra fe va más allá para proclamar que nosotros, también, podemos experimentar esta vida resucitada. Aún enfrentando dificultades o en el sufrimiento. La Resurrección de Cristo nos asegura que nuestras luchas no tienen la última palabra. Porque aquellos que tienen esperanza y confían en el Señor Resucitado, que juntan sus cruces con las de Él, también compartirán la alegría y la paz de la nueva vida que Él ganó para nosotros; no solo en la eternidad, pero también aquí y ahora.
La Pascua verdaderamente cambia todo. Al celebrar los eventos sagrados de la Semana Santa y la Pascua, creemos que en la muerte y resurrección de Jesús, a cada uno de nosotros nos ha sido ofrecido un comienzo nuevo y lleno de esperanza. Queda en nosotros aceptar esta gracia, permitir que llene nuestros corazones y nuestras vidas, y luego expresarla en nuestras palabras y acciones, en nuestra devoción a Dios y nuestro servicio a los demás.
En nombre de todo nuestro personal diocesano, les deseo a ustedes y a sus seres queridos un Día y un Tiempo de Pascua seguro, bendecido y lleno de gracia.
