Bishop Joseph M. Siegel will celebrate the Diocese of Evansville’s annual Chrism Mass at 5:30 p.m. CDT April 12 at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville. All are welcome. Please note that there will be marked areas inside the cathedral for those who wish to wear face coverings.
During the Mass, Bishop Siegel will bless the holy oil and chrism to be used in parishes across the diocese in the coming year. In addition, the priests of the diocese will make a public renewal of their priestly promises to serve Christ and the Church.
