Celebrating the 5th Annual Ton of Toys -

For the 5th year, the Ton of Toys program assisted local families in need by providing toys, stocking stuffers, games, puzzles and winter necessities to children of families experiencing financial difficulties. The program is a partnership between WIKY 104 FM radio station and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Evansville District Council. Lucas Oil Center has sponsored the event all five years of its existence, St. Vincent de Paul Executive Director Joe Cook said, and offered toy donation drop-off locations. Cook reported that St. Vincent de Paul assisted nearly 200 families this year, including many from the St. Vincent Early Learning Center.
