Father Tony Ernst, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Vincennes, appointed Joe Maione to serve as principal of Rivet School in Vincennes.
Maione has been in both the public and private school sectors in his career.
“I jumped at the opportunity to return to the private school environment of a school community that has a family atmosphere,” Maione said. “My own Catholic education at Memorial in Evansville helped shape the person I am and I look forward to the opportunity to give back.”
Father Tony Ernst, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Vincennes, said they are very blessed to have Maione as the new principal at Rivet School.
“While this is Joe’s first time being a principal, he has extensive experience teaching, coaching and serving in various administrative roles,” Father Ernst said. “Because of his vast experience and his love for seeing children receive a faith-based education and formation, we believe Joe will be a great administrator at our school.”
Maione said he is thrilled to serve the Vincennes Catholic schools as the principal at Rivet.
“I look forward to supporting the faith-based educational program and working closely with the students, families and staff to continue to embrace tradition and work with the entire school community to strive for excellence daily,” Maione said.
