Prospective students and their families filled the hallways and classrooms of Evansville’s Mater Dei High School Nov. 9 during the school’s annual open house. Mater Dei President Deacon Dan Niemeier tells The Message that more than 100 families visited the school during the event. Editor’s note: This year marks the first that Mater Dei and Reitz Memorial high schools have held their open houses on different dates. Reitz Memorial’s open house was Oct. 26.
