Favorite meal or snack: Spaghetti

What I do in my “down time:” Reading, golfing, fishing, praying, smoking a nice cigar, exercising, spending time with family and friends, etc.

Bucket list vacation destination: I would love to go to Poland and Croatia because part of my ancestry comes from those areas.

The priest or deacon who baptized you: Father Tony Ernst

The priest who heard your First Confession: Father Tony Ernst

Your Confirmation Saint: I chose St. Martin of Tours, who is the patron saint of soldiers and chaplains (among other things), because, around the time I received the Sacrament of Confirmation, I was heavily discerning whether I should join the military.

Favorite Bible verse: “Do whatever He tells you” (John 2:5). This short command from the Blessed Virgin sums up the universal calling to holiness that all persons share, and it is a constant reminder to me of the simplicity with which God entreats us to follow the path to sainthood – by just doing whatever He says!
