Surveys for Catholic school students and families

BY DR. DARYL HAGAN

Superintendent of Catholic Schools

The upheaval and anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone’s lives more than we could ever have imagined. We know that many of you are juggling the unexpected challenges of your children’s remote learning while caring for families and dealing with the impact of the shutdowns on your own work.

We’d like to know how you feel your chil- dren’s remote learning is going — for them, and for you. Your input will let us know where we might need to give your children — and you — additional support should we find ourselves here again in the future. Please take a few min- utes to express your thoughts by completing the parent survey when your school sends it out.

As for your child, please help us gather this information by encouraging your student to complete the student survey. For the elementary students, you can explain the questions or help them think through their answers if they need help. Your child’s answers will be confidential — we’re not tracking students’ responses by name.

The survey link will be open through Friday, May 15, 2020.

Please be assured of my continued prayers for you and your family. If you need assistance completing the survey or have questions, please contact your school principal.
