On June 21, Father Benny Alikandayil Chacko and Father Biju Thomas became incardinated as priests of the Diocese of Evansville. Father Benny has been serving as Administrator of Sts. Mary and John Parish in Evansville, and Father Biju has been serving as Administrator of St. Mary Parish in Huntingburg.
Bishop Joseph M. Siegel has appointed Father Benny as pastor of Annunciation Parish in Evansville effective June 30. The bishop appointed Father Biju as pastor of St. Mary, Huntingburg, effective June 30.
Father Benny and Father Biju are natives of India. They were ordained in the Archdiocese of Imphal, India. They have served as missionary priests in the Diocese of Evansville since 2015.
