StoneBridge Business Partners of Rochester, New York, has notified Bishop Joseph M. Siegel that its 2021 on-site audit determined that the diocese is in compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.
The audit covered the period from July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2021. Dioceses across the country are subject to in-person audits every three years.
StoneBridge advised Bishop Siegel that its certification of compliance is based on inquiry, observation and the review of specifically requested documents the diocese provided to the on-site auditors earlier this year.
