Photographer Mike Fetscher provided The Message with two drone photos showing the damage to St. Joseph Church in Vanderburgh County caused March 3 by an EF1 tornado and the work to install a temporary protective covering. Pastor Father Gene Schroeder will celebrate Masses in the St. Joseph School cafeteria until further notice, and work will continue on repairing the church. Engineering inspections the week of March 6 revealed no structural damage to the church beyond the loss of the roof.
