Administrators from the Diocese of Evansville’s 26 Catholic schools met July 18 at the Catholic Center in Evansville. They gathered for this group photo in the chapel of Sarto Retreat House after Mass, which was celebrated by Father Jerry Pratt, pastor of Resurrection Parish in Evansville. Special guests at the meeting included John Elcessor, executive director of the Indiana Non Public Education Association. Bishop Joseph M. Siegel will celebrate the diocese’s annual back-to-school Mass July 31 at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville. Schools across the diocese will hold their first class days from Aug. 1 (Mater Dei High School in Evansville) through Aug. 10 (Flaget Elementary and Rivet Middle and High School in Vincennes, and Holy Cross School in Fort Branch).
